Philosophy & Approach

Why is Career Path AI organized around Preparation, Analysis, and Decision?+

Career decisions rarely fail because of missing information — they fail because information isn't organized in a way that supports clear thinking. Career Path AI mirrors the three cognitive modes real career decisions require: Preparation (gathering evidence about your experience and the opportunity), Analysis (evaluating fit, risks, and tradeoffs through structured reasoning), and Decision (reflecting, comparing, and choosing with confidence). Every feature belongs to one of these modes, so you always know what kind of thinking the tool is helping you do.

Why are recommendations evidence-based rather than predictions?+

Career Path AI does not predict whether you will be hired or whether an opportunity will succeed — no responsible tool can. Instead, each recommendation is grounded in the documented evidence you provide: your experience, the role's requirements, your transferable skills, and the uncertainties that remain. When the evidence is strong, the recommendation is confident. When evidence is missing, the platform surfaces the clarifications and questions worth asking before you commit. This keeps recommendations honest and actionable rather than speculative.

Why does AI support decisions instead of replacing professional judgment?+

The most important career decisions involve values, timing, relationships, and personal circumstances that no AI can fully understand. Career Path AI is deliberately designed as a decision-support system: it organizes evidence, surfaces tradeoffs, and asks the reflective questions that improve your reasoning — but the final judgment always remains yours. This makes the platform a complement to career coaches, mentors, and your own experience, not a substitute for them.

Getting Started

Who is Career Path AI designed for?+

Career Path AI is designed for professionals evaluating opportunities, career changers, job seekers, international and relocation candidates, mid-career professionals, and anyone seeking more clarity before making important career decisions.

What is Career Path AI trying to do?+

Career Path AI is not designed to tell users what decision to make. It is designed to help users understand opportunities more clearly. The platform organizes information, identifies strengths, highlights risks, reveals missing information, and suggests questions worth asking before making a career decision. The goal is not prediction. The goal is better-informed decisions.

Why is this different from ChatGPT?+

Career Path AI uses structured evaluation frameworks specifically designed for career decisions, job opportunities and professional growth — not freeform prompting. Every evaluation follows the same sections so you can compare opportunities consistently.

Why not simply ask ChatGPT?+

ChatGPT can be a powerful tool, but Career Path AI is designed specifically for career decisions. Each evaluation follows a structured framework that consistently analyzes opportunity fit, transferable skills, potential risks, interview preparation, compensation considerations, and decision-making factors. This helps users compare opportunities more effectively and reduces the chance of overlooking important considerations.

Does Career Path AI make decisions for me?+

No. The platform helps organize information, identify tradeoffs and improve clarity. Final decisions remain yours.

Evaluations

Can I evaluate jobs from any country?+

Yes. Career Path AI analyzes the opportunity based on the information you provide, regardless of the country where the position is located. Some recommendations (such as interview expectations or salary reflections) may vary depending on the available information.

How accurate are the evaluations?+

Evaluations are generated from the information provided and should be treated as guidance rather than certainty. The purpose is to improve understanding and decision-making.

What should I focus on most in the report?+

While the score provides a useful starting point, the most valuable parts of the report are often the Executive Summary, Opportunity Assessment, Areas Requiring Clarification, Questions To Ask Recruiters, Risks To Consider, Decision Reflection, and Suggested Next Steps. These sections help identify what information is still missing and what conversations are worth having before making a decision.

What does Confidence Level mean?+

Confidence reflects the completeness and quality of available evidence. High Confidence means strong supporting evidence exists for most major requirements. Medium Confidence means some requirements are supported while others require clarification. Low Confidence means important information is missing. Confidence measures evidence quality, not candidate quality.

How should I interpret the score?+

The score is a starting point, not a final answer. In most cases, a difference of a few points does not change the overall recommendation. Focus first on the recommendation category, Strengths Alignment, Areas Requiring Clarification, Risks To Consider, and Questions To Ask Recruiters. These sections usually provide more practical decision support than the numerical score alone.

Why can my score change slightly between evaluations?+

Career Path AI uses AI-assisted reasoning to evaluate evidence, transferable skills, role requirements, and information completeness. Career assessments involve interpretation and incomplete information, so the system may occasionally emphasize different pieces of evidence and produce small score variations. This is normal and does not necessarily indicate a different recommendation. Focus primarily on the recommendation category, supporting evidence, strengths, risks, clarification areas, and suggested next actions rather than small score differences.

Why doesn't Career Path AI always give the exact same score?+

Career opportunities rarely have one objectively correct interpretation. Career Path AI evaluates evidence and may highlight different strengths, risks, or clarification areas across evaluations. Small score variations are expected and reflect the nature of AI-assisted reasoning. Recommendation categories and supporting evidence are generally more important than small score differences.

Does Career Path AI predict whether I will get hired?+

No. Career Path AI is a decision-support tool, not a hiring prediction system. Hiring outcomes depend on many factors outside the information available to the platform, including interviews, communication skills, timing, competition, company needs, negotiation, and personal circumstances. The purpose of Career Path AI is to help users prepare, reflect, and make more informed career decisions.

Saved Reports and Dashboard

Where can I find my saved evaluations?+

Once you create a free account, every saved evaluation appears in your dashboard. You can revisit, rename, or compare them anytime. Explorer accounts can save up to 3 evaluations per month; Professional unlocks 15 per month and a longer history; Professional Plus includes 30 evaluations per month with unlimited history and saved reports.

What happens if my subscription ends?+

Your Career Path AI account remains active. Your evaluations, cover letters, and saved workspace are preserved. Professional features become unavailable until you subscribe again. You may renew at any time and continue exactly where you left off. Your data is permanently deleted only if you choose to delete your account.

Professional Plus

What is AI Career Advisor?+

AI Career Advisor is Career Path AI's dedicated decision-support assistant. Unlike a general AI chatbot, it focuses exclusively on career-related topics such as job applications, recruiter communication, interview preparation, offer interpretation, salary discussions, relocation considerations, and professional decision-making. Its purpose is not to replace your judgment, but to help you make better-informed career decisions.

How are AI Career Sessions different from Career Evaluations?+

Career Evaluations analyze a specific job opportunity by comparing your experience with a job description. AI Career Sessions are interactive conversations where you can ask follow-up questions throughout your application journey. Evaluations provide structured analysis. AI Career Sessions provide ongoing guidance.

What is Career Memory?+

Career Memory helps Career Path AI remember your journey over time. It connects your evaluations, notes, decision journal, workspaces, and interview history to provide more consistent guidance while preserving the context of your career search.

What is the Decision Journal?+

The Decision Journal allows you to record why you accepted, rejected, or postponed an opportunity. Over time it becomes a valuable personal record that helps you recognize patterns and make more confident career decisions.

How do Career Workspaces help?+

Each opportunity receives its own dedicated workspace. Instead of losing emails, interview notes, evaluations, and cover letters across different tools, everything stays organized in one place throughout the application process.

What is the Opportunity Pipeline?+

The Opportunity Pipeline gives you a visual overview of every opportunity you're currently considering. Track where each application stands — from preparation to interview, offer, acceptance, or rejection.

What is the CV/Resume Draft Assistant?+

The CV/Resume Draft Assistant transforms the structured evidence from your CV Review into a clean, ATS-readable draft tailored to the selected opportunity. It does not invent experience or embellish achievements—it reorganizes your existing evidence into a professional draft you can further edit and format in the resume tool of your choice.

What are Workspace Notes?+

Workspace Notes allow you to save recruiter emails, interview observations, company research, personal reflections, and other important information related to a specific opportunity.

What are Mock Interviews?+

Mock Interviews simulate realistic interview conversations based on your evaluation and the target position. They help you practice before the real interview and receive structured feedback.

How many AI Career Sessions are included?+

Professional Plus currently includes 60 AI Career Sessions every month. Sessions are designed for ongoing career guidance rather than unlimited general AI conversations.

Does Career Path AI replace ChatGPT?+

No. Career Path AI complements general AI tools by providing a structured career decision platform. It combines evaluations, workspaces, interview preparation, career memory, decision journals, and guided AI conversations within a single career-focused environment.

Why might my evaluation differ between Professional and Professional Plus?+

Career Path AI uses the same core evaluation methodology across all plans to ensure consistency and fairness. Professional Plus builds upon that foundation by providing a deeper level of reasoning and decision support. In addition to evaluating your technical alignment with a role, Professional Plus helps you understand the tradeoffs involved in pursuing the opportunity, the uncertainties that deserve clarification, how the opportunity fits into your broader career journey, which conversations with recruiters are most valuable, and structured reflection that supports thoughtful career decisions. Professional Plus does not change the evaluation methodology. Instead, it expands the reasoning layer built upon that methodology. Career Path AI supports professional judgment rather than replacing it.

Cover Letters

Does Career Path AI generate cover letters?+

Yes. The Professional plan includes AI-generated cover letters tailored to each saved evaluation, so the letter reflects the same opportunity context as the report. Cover letters can be regenerated and saved in your dashboard.

Can I compare multiple job offers?+

Data Privacy & Security

Is my information private?+

Career Path AI is designed to help evaluate opportunities and organize information. Personal information is not sold to third parties and is never used for advertising purposes.

Does Career Path AI use customer data to train AI models?+

No.
Career Path AI is designed with customer data protection as a core principle.

How is customer data protected?+

Career Path AI follows a security-by-design approach.

Data governance depends on the selected deployment model. Enterprise deployments can be configured with customer-controlled infrastructure, databases, authentication, storage, and AI provider credentials, allowing organizations to satisfy internal security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

During development, proprietary project data is excluded from platform-level AI training where supported, and commercial AI providers operate under contractual restrictions regarding customer content.

Can organizations use their own infrastructure and AI credentials?+

Yes.

Career Path AI is designed to support customer-controlled infrastructure.

Enterprise deployments may use:

No.

Career Path AI is built around a provider-independent architecture.
